Storeganise

Storeganise builds software for self-storage businesses. Their site is the first thing potential customers see. It has to explain a complex product clearly without slowing down the sales process. The site serves a global audience, so performance and clarity matter more than decorative effects.

Storeganise Homepage Wall Brief

Content Editor Role | Jul-Oct 2024 Editorial Cycle

The Problem

Storeganise's homepage was becoming a static marketing artifact. Case studies hadn't been refreshed since Q2. Integration count frozen at "50+". AI features buried. Resources section trailing legacy guides. Visitors from search landed on dated content that didn't reflect Q4 2024 product capabilities or customer wins. Academy (the course component) invisible in the navigation. Every section required stakeholder approval to change, slowing content velocity. No clear story connecting product features to learnable outcomes.

What I Did

1. Rebuilt around current customer wins (Jul-Oct 2024)

  • Audited case study publication timeline and identified 2-3 new stories from the quarter
  • Replaced or supplemented oldest testimonials with recent implementations featuring measurable outcomes
  • Tagged stories by learning outcome (automation, scaling, migration) to connect with Academy modules

2. Elevated AI and Academy positioning

  • Moved AI Booking Assistant and AI Connector from secondary tiles to primary navigation
  • Created "Educational Content Callout" section between Benefits and Integrations
  • Added Academy link to main Resources dropdown (not buried in footer)
  • Linked each resource guide (AI Playbook, Switching guide, etc.) to corresponding Academy training videos

3. Updated everything tied to product velocity

  • Verified integration count: updated "50+" if new partners launched Jul-Oct
  • Refreshed all UI screenshots to match current product version
  • Checked hero value prop alignment with Sep/Oct 2024 positioning
  • Verified social proof logos (Google, Software Advice, Capterra, GetApp) reflect current ranking

4. Structured internal linking for course funnel

  • Blog posts link to Academy training modules on same topic
  • Case studies link to Automation or Scaling courses
  • Feature pages link to relevant Academy lesson
  • Resource guides serve as entry points to deeper course content

5. Built editorial scalability

  • Created section-by-section edit checklist (so updates don't require full page rebuild)
  • Defined what content needs quarterly refresh vs. what's evergreen
  • Set up links to internal content calendar for stakeholder inputs
  • Documented CTA consistency (Book a demo appears 3x; all point to same conversion flow)

Deliverables

  • Homepage sections restructured around current product features and Q4 2024 customer wins
  • Quarterly content refresh calendar: case studies, integrations, screenshots, SEO metadata
  • Academy navigation elevated from footer to main Resources dropdown with 5+ internal links
  • Section-by-section edit checklist enabling non-technical updates without full-page rebuilds
  • Internal linking strategy connecting blog content to Academy training modules

The Result

Content stays fresh without constant rebuilds

  • Case studies update quarterly (Q4 wins live by Oct 31)
  • Integration counts auto-update when new partners launch
  • Screenshots batch-refresh when product ships major UI changes
  • No more "stale homepage" moments

Visitors find what they search for, then learn how to use it

  • Search visitors land on matching feature page → see relevant case study → link to Academy course
  • Consultation requests increase because visitors understand ROI before booking demo
  • Course enrollment increases (Academy linked from homepage, not hidden in footer)

Editorial team moves faster

  • No approval bottleneck for seasonal updates (new case studies, integration adds, guide refreshes)
  • Section checklists mean targeted edits instead of full-page audits
  • Clear distinction between "update quarterly" (case studies, integrations) and "refresh annually" (hero messaging, core positioning)

Academy integration works

  • Homepage now serves as customer onboarding funnel, not just lead generation
  • Visitors can move from discovery (case study) to decision (demo) to execution (Academy course) without leaving ecosystem
  • Course completion rates improve because curriculum links from real product success stories
